A track and field day filled with fun for all! Come join us for a day of competition and nostalgia as you compete in classic track and field activities at Excelsior Elementary School. 

Activities run every half-hour and include: 

- Gunny Sack Races

- Apple Bullseye

- Race/Walk Competition

- Endurance Course

- Apple Long Jump

- 4x100 Apple Relay

-Options for the 1-mile and 5k fun runs are also available to complete the Lake Minnetonka Running Series, located on the Lake Minnetonka Regional Trail. This is a timed, but not chipped, fun run. 




Weather/Cancellation Policy:

The Apple of the Lake Race reserves the right to delay the start of the event or to cancel the event. The safety of all participants is our primary concern.  In the event of a forced cancellation of the event refunds or credits will not be given. 

Refund Policy:

No refunds or transfers are allowed for any reason at any time including race cancellation.



Time

8 AM- 9 AM: Walk-up registration 

9 AM- 12 PM: Track and Field Activities 

9 AM: 1 mile start 

9:05 AM: 5k start
